BUILDING A BRIGHTER FUTURE TOGETHER

**************

Tomorrow, Friday is SPIRIT DAY!  Let's send our Patriots some "mojo" by wearing our favorite Pats gear or anything red/white/blue.  Can they beat the Ravens?  You bet!

****

Governor Patrick has declared next Wednesday, January 25, as "NO NAME CALLING DAY".  We're encouraging our students to wear black on that day as a sign of commitment to "black out bullying."

***

Please also help us welcome our student teachers:  Erin Olszewski (Mrs. Engler), Suzanne Sullivan (Miss Eagleston), and Courtney Moreira (Mrs. Reminder).  These young ladies are from Providence College and will be witb us through the end of February.  We're delighted they're here!

***

Please know that you may request an application for free/reduced lunches at any time if your financial situation has changed. Also, the current month's menu can always be found in the Electronic Backpack to the left.

***

****************

"Premier At Home" is available to you!  This is a FREE reading, writing, and studying program for use on your home computer.  Please see the Electronic Backpack for more information and the QuickStart Guide.

***************

Be sure to check the Principal's Desk for Mr. Quinn's January thoughts.

A  few important reminders for you:

          1. If you would like a copy of our School Handbook, please notify the office.

2.  Please look for the RED FLAG in the morning when you bring your child to school; it means indoor recess.    Is your child dressed appropriately for the weather?  We'll go outside whenever possible.

3.  Bicycles are allowed only for 4th and 5th graders   Please make sure your child has a bike lock. Bicycles are NOT ALLOWED between December 1 and April 1, due to the weather.

4. Please remember that our school buses cannot be used to transport your child for play dates, birthday parties, etc.  If you have any transportation questions, please call Mr. Gaudette, Transportation Director, at 508-643-2106.

5.  Please check the Monthly Calendar (link to the left) often for the latest information.  Just put your curson on the date for the full message.
